I earned my MA in Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling at Saint Mary’s College of California. I provide therapy in my Danville office to children, teens, adults, parents, and families. I have been intensively trained in DBT and co-facilitate DBT adult and multi-family groups in Danville.
I have worked as a therapist in both public and private school settings, therapeutic camps (Quest Therapeutic Camps Inc), and community mental health clinics. I have worked in schools such as Charles Armstrong School, Hope Academy, Stellar Academy for Dyslexics, Fusion Academy -Walnut Creek, and Compass High School serving students with learning differences. While working at Compass High School, I taught a social skill, a remedial reading class, and provided on-site therapeutic services. I treat a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, learning differences, ADHD, dyslexia, social skills deficits, behavioral difficulties, and high functioning Autism.
My therapeutic style is warm, genuine, nonjudgmental, compassionate, and goal- oriented. Furthermore, I believe with support, empathy, and professional guidance, an individual has the capability to grow, learn, and achieve their greatest potential.
